“A family tour” I joined the tour with my wife and two kids. Considering the price, that is not too high compared to other tours I did, we decided to book the food also for the kids (9 and 4 years old) even if they usually do not eat that much, and… It ended up with them eating also our food!!! Everything was superb, but the tiramisù was the best. Especially because… You will eat it in one bite (no spoiler, but there is a surprise on how it is served). One hour and half of pure pleasure
Amazing experience!
Tiramisù in a cup of chocolate: AMAZING” I am a tiramisù lover and the small tiramisù served in a cup of chocolate is something I will not forget! Almost two hours tasting different sweets and listening to really interesting and funny stories about Rome. I appreciated that the guide, Selene, is a real local and also an archeologist (but she said all the team are archeologist). We were in a relatively small group, with 5 other people, and the organization was perfect. Selene took care of every aspect and all the tastings were well organized

I cried during the cheese tasting...in a good way...
We were in Rome for 3 days this past July and decided to book this tour last minute, the morning of our tasting. Like a Local Guide was able to confirm the reservation by the afternoon. We met Stefano at a local family owned restaurant that had been a part of the family for 150 years. We started with a glass of wine and a local sparkling beverage for my mother and my sister as they were not drinking. Stefano was very knowledgable about Rome and Roman history. We went to places that I would not have gone into on my own.
My favorite part was the cheese tasting. I have a soft spot for cheese and wine in general and we went to this local cheese shop. The owners were so kind to let us come into their store. Stefano had a map of Italy and as we tasted the different cheeses, he talked about the region they came from. The owner let us try this soft blue cheese that was out of this world. Maybe it was the heat (we went during the heat wave), maybe it was the wine, maybe it was the passion with which the Stefano and the owner were discussing the cheeses, but it literally brought tears of gratitude to my eyes. An excellent way to spend the evening that I would not have been able to do on my own.

Gratitude, love, and light!
I initially missed the eve tour...but joined the morning one and I wasnt at all disappointed!! Our guide was fun and knowledgeable, the foods and coffee/ wine was amazing and the group was small so made it for a really enjoyable morning. I did this on my own and felt were welcome, there was also someone else doing it alone so good way to meet people !! highly recommended!!!
Real insight into Italian lives and Roman way of living, beautifully told history of the city in the context, delicious food and plenty of it, warm and exciting tour guide, hack and advice for life when it comes to food! Great value for money, responsible when it comes to disposable single issue plastic. Would recommend it to anyone! Loved it to bits, now I seek it in other cities.
Awesome, fulfilled tour.
I did this tour with my wife and two teenage sons and we had the best time. Ericka our host was so much fun and interesting. We ate and learnt about the foods from all regions of Italy and visited great places in Rome where we tasted cheeses, canoli, Michelin star pasta, pizza and tiramisu. And to top it all off we made a whole bunch of new friends from the USA and Israel. Do yourself a favour and book one of these unforgettable tours. Ciao to Ericka xx.
A must do
We had a lovely tour with Chiara. She knows a lot of interesting details and showed us wonderful really local places where you won't meet a lot of tourists. We tasted lovely sweets, cheeses, pasta wine and more. If you want to see and taste Rome: go with a local!
