What a real Roman experience. I did this experience with foreign friends (I am Italian) and I have to say that these guys knows what they do. Considering how much amazing food you eat, this experience worth the money you pay. But if you also consider all the hidden gems that you discover during the tour, all the historical information about Rome and the traditions of the people leaving here… well, this tour really goes beyond expectations. I will try more experiences with Roma Eat when back in town, this is sure.

Description

Eat like a local and feel like a Roman with us on this unique evening adventure that will allow you to discover the historical center of Rome, away from the tourist crowds!

This tour will give you the chance to enjoy more than 15 food and wine tastings, all "seasoned" with storytelling about our city’s amazing history and culture.

You’ll drink a typical Roman "aperitivo" in an historic bar owned by the same family for 150 years.

In the narrow streets of Campo de Fiori, you’ll taste mouth-watering Cannoli and have exclusive access to the last traditional family grocery shop of the area where you’ll eat cheese and salami paired with a local wine.

You’ll be given a glimpse of Roman street food, with the pizza "al taglio" in an ancient bakery opened in 1880.

Then it will be time for a seated meal in a cosy restaurant where you’ll feast on traditional bruschetta and the best Carbonara in town, cooked by a Michelin Star Chef!

We will finish with a toast of a homemade limoncello, created with love and passion, as well as some Tiramisù for dessert.

Don't leave Rome without doing this tour!
My boyfriend and I decided to book this tour for our last day in Rome. We started off the morning on a different tour that was just awful and put us in such a bad mood. However, this tour was so wonderful and it just erased all the bad memories from the morning. Our tour guides were friendly, fun, courteous and SO knowledgeable! We toured some places located off sides streets just a little away from the touristy areas and discovered some amazing food. We got to try some authentic Sicilian pastries, wonderful cheeses, and other foods as well. In between the food we walked to some areas and learned some fascinating facts. To finish the night we had a WONDERFUL dinner. Another thing to mention is that my bf is gluten and lactose intolerant and they accommodated for him and the gluten free bread he tried that night was hands down the best gluten free bread ever. It was warm and fresh out of the oven. I just cannot recommend this tour enough. It was a beautiful way to end our trip to Italy.
Totally Awesome!
These guys are fantastic, we had the absolute best evening spent learning all sorts of things we never knew even though we've been to Rome many times. Their passion (and knowledge) for their subjects ooooozes out of them and becomes infectious. Our tour guides stared out as amazing guides and ended up as great friends. Cant recommend highly enough!
