The Villa Medici was built in 1544 and is contiguous with the Borghese gardens, on the Pincian Hill next to Trinità dei Monti. It houses the French Academy in Rome since 1803.
The views from its gardens over Rome are stunning. You can visit ONLY with a guided tour. English tour goes at 12 a.m. Closed on Mondays
