Why you should visit it

Villa Torlonia is an amazing public park full of English-style gardens and Art Nouveau architecture. One of the best examples of Italian Art Nouveau is the Casina delle Civette – it’s an absolute must. Other buildings from the 20s have also been turned into museums such as Casino dei Principi and Casino Nobile.

Special tip

If you’re travelling with children, check out the interactive technology museum ‘Technotown’. There's also a good restaurant inside the Villa.
