Why locals love it
Every spa town needs a spa garden, and so does Warnemünde. The park is not huge, but is has some culture to offer: besides some sculptures, it is a perfect place to read. Next to the small but nice playground, you find a book box inside an advertisisng pillar. The policy is: Take a book in exchange for another.

Why you should visit it
It's an oasis of peace and silence, especially when Warnemünde is full of tourists in the summer. Just relax on a bench under some of the old trees, ideally with a good book. For rainy days, there is a small but pretty reading room at the far end of the park towards the sea.
Special tip
There are some pretty Gründerzeit houses around the park.
