Besides the Petrikirche this is the second church in Rostock's historic old town. However, it's not only interesting because it's a church from the 13th century, but because it's used for various purposes, such as concerts, markets, fairs, and exhibitions. The upper part is even used as a living space, as you can see from the unsual roof.

Definitely check out if there's something going on there while you visit Rostock - it might be a special experience! Anyway, it's worth just wandering around the church. Opposite the building, you can see the oldest remaining houses of Rostock, They are especially pretty to look at in the summer, when the roses climbing up their walls blossom.
