Why locals love it
Vegangster is Rostock's most famous vegan diner. Naturally it is located in the young and hip student neighbourhood of the KTV, close to the main university campus. The diner is small and clearly alternative, with graffiti covered walls and the opening hours written with edding on the window shutters.

Why you should visit it
If you are vegan or just curious and open for something new, defintely give it ago! The offers range from vegan burgers over Hungarian langos or Greek gyros to 'Vöner', the vegan version of the Berlin-born 'Döner' (kebab). Of course there are desserts, too. Everything is very affordable.
Special tip
Whatever you have, have it with potato dippers!
