Why locals love it
Aho's Block of Flats that lies on Koskikatu and Jaakonkatu have been designed by Alvar Aalto. Simple houses don't look much from the outside but still they fill up all the characteristics of Aalto's Design. Houses were built during the Rebuilding Era, 1945 - 1959, and still stand in the City Center.

Why you should visit it
Aalto also designed a private houses that lies along side the Koskikatu. Maison Aho also looks regular houses but still has lot of Aalto's characteristics. You can see the house from the Koskikatu while walking toward the Rovaniemi's Fire Department in which also is a architectural mark stone.
