Rovaniemi's Bus Station is also architecturally remarkable jewel. The roof resembles the high ills that surrounds the river valley and the it fit well in with Alvar Aalto's designs continuing the Theaters hills to the 3. section of the city center. Rebuilding marble was build between 1945-1959.
