Why locals love it
City Hall, Rovaniemi's City Library and of course the Theater buildings has been designed by the Alvar Aalto, his unique design style is also shown around the Rovaniemi quite frequently. White buildings fill up the Rovaniemi's municipality government central. In the middle there's tiny park in which has sometimes outdoor exhibitions.

Why you should visit it
Area is also surrounded by randomly located reindeer statues, Rovaniemi is the city of the reindeer and Santa Claus for it's obvious reasons. The national animal of the Lapland there's around 200,000 reindeer on the region which is the main livelihood without forgetting the tourism. So in short there is more reindeers living in Lapland than people.
