Why locals love it
The area is isolated from the city life. Island is located alongside the E4. The parking is really hard to find, usually people leave their cars on the side of the big road. There's safer parking area on the Ounas Pavilion but there are no possibilities to across the river. The island is mainly covered by grass and flowers, and rare river willow.

Why you should visit it
Nature Resort Area for the river willows, in summer there's usually sheep on the island. Summer visit. There's also remains of the old railway. Sightseeing tower to watch birds and surroundings river area.
