Founded in 1972, the Lapland Chamber Orchestra is the northernmost professional orchestra in Finland and the entire EU. At the moment, artistic director is conductor John Storgårds. Based in Rovaniemi, the Orchestra is a regional orchestra that performs in the Province of Lapland.

Presenting across the Finland and abroad, the orchestra has been recognized by many domestic prizes as well internationally. The main presenting arena is located in Rovaniemi Korundi that with holds 340 seats. The orchestra has 18 members.
