Pahtaja is really beautiful place that lies just outside the city. Surrouded by the river this big opening looks like a sea. Best time for visiting is Fall's full Ruska that colours the trees surroundings. Pahtaja also located under the Valajaskoski Hydro-electric Power Plant. The view is amazing during a pretty sunny day.
