Why locals love it
The Kelekkakisa Competition, was funded in 2016, the main stage was on that time in Songa and lates year in Lainaanranta in Rovaniemi. In 2020 the competition will expand to the entire Jätkänpuisto. The competition has grew over the years and same with the visitor numbers. At first the idea was to show Vintage snowmobiles, that main theme in 2018.
Why you should visit it
In 2019 the competition had it's traditional Vintage show adding new snowmobiles into the race. Nowadays the event is more about the sports than the machinery and Vintage, but both co-exist hand in hand. The event is totally free for the audience.
