It's protected from the traffic by the buildings which is a rare case in the city. The waves are always strong here and it's somehow dangerous but brings a lot of fun for sure. Full of young middle classlocals and kids from favela as well.

The São Francisco Church and Convent is located in the historical centre of Salvador. The convent and its church are very important colonial monuments. The current church was built between 1708 and 1723. Inside decoration is amazing.
