Why locals love it
The building is in itself rather futuristic, and is a great place to watch planes take off from and land in Salzburg airport. Entrance is completely free and you can look at Red Bull's collection of airplanes, helicopters and Formula 1 cars. There is also a restaurant on the 1st floor and a cocktail bar on the 2nd.
Why you should visit it
Ever wanted to see a Formula 1 car up close? Then this is where you need to go. Red Bull exhibits cars, airplanes and helicopters from its own collection and provides some technical information for each one of them. Some planes are quite old but they are still in service, occasionally flown by the Flying Bulls.
Special tip
Hangar-7 is also home to Servus TV's programme "Sport & Talk aus dem Hangar-7". You can attend to listen to sports personalities being interviewed.
