Definitely off the beaten track, as Panzerhalle is squashed in the unlikeliest of areas of Salzburg. You would really need to know about this place to go there as the chances are pretty slim of stumbling upon it by chance. As its name indicates, this used to be a hall for tanks but houses offices but also has lovely terraces and restaurants.
It is quite a charming building, and a nice way to reconvert a former army annex. It has a food marketplace and nice restaurants, where you can sip some nice Austrian wine outside on the terrace if the weather allows!
Don't be put off by the fact that it houses offices, anyone can walk in. It is a bit confusing so be sure to follow the signs.
