The Asian Art Museum is devoted to the art and cultures of Asia. It has an incredible collection organized by geographical areas and higlighted by impressive masterpieces, such as gilded bronze Buddhas dating back from 300 DC, or China's famous terracotta warriors.

If you love Buddhas and asian cultures, this museum is a must-visit. The museum is well curated and very peaceful. It offers many free tours, led by trained docents, to introduce you the complexity and aesthetics of the asian arts and ancient cultures. It is a great alternative activity on a foggy day in San Francisco.
General admission is $15, $20 with the exbihition included. If you're hungry, you can also eat at the museum's top-notch cafe.
