Characterized by its 245-foot tall clock tower, Ferry Building is a terminal for ferries that travel to Sausalito and across the bay, and also a food hall. It's always full of people shopping, departing or admiring the great nave with its arched arcades, inspired by XIXth century European covered galleries. It reminds me of Paris' passageways.

Under its covered hall you’ll find numerous shops, restaurants and coffees. Moreover every saturday, tuesday and wednesday is held there San Franscico’s famous Farmer’s market, where cheese, spices, oils, wines and fresh products are sold at local prices (meaning quite expensive for European standards).
My favorite thing to do in Ferry Building is to take out a Blue bottle coffee and sit outside to watch the ocean and departing ferries.
