Lafayette Park is located on top of one of the hills in Pacific Heights. People who visit the park are typically from the Pacific Heights or Nob Hill neighborhoods. They go there to walk their dogs or take a stroll with their kids.
Why you should visit it
Lafayette is a pretty and peaceful little park. It offers great views of the Pacific Heights neighborhood and the Bay. On sunny days you can see the Marina district and Alcatraz very clearly. I like to sit on a bench and just watch the locals play with their dogs.
