A wild and stunning
Why locals love it
Lands End is a park and wild coastal trail located at the northwest corner of San Francisco, in the Golden Gate National Recreational area. It offers stunning views on the ocean. On one way, the trail leads to the ruins of the Sutro Bath, and on the other way to Baker Beach, that offers a great perspective on the Golden Gate bridge.
Why you should visit it
If you want fresh air and like the ocean, this trail is for you. It's really a great feeling to be in such beautiful wilderness and landscapes when you are only 30 mn away from the heart of the city. The walk through the cypresses and wildflowers of the Presidio park is really peaceful and nice.
Make sure to see the sunset at Land's end, it is an unforgetful sight and a experience to live when visiting the City by the bay.
