Why locals love it
Who doesn't love going down a looong slide? A pair of long, steep concrete slides are tucked into this little park with a community garden. Take a short walk up to Seward Mini Park after exploring the Castro or Noe Valley.
Why you should visit it
It's all about the slides! Slide down with a friend, side-by-side, in a race to the bottom! The little park is also a nice place to take a break after walking up the hills of Noe Valley and the Castro. Pick up a drink at Spike's Coffee & Teas at Castro and 19th Streets (4 blocks away).
Special tip
For ease of sliding and for greater speed, sit on a piece of cardboard when going down the slide. (Sometimes you can find some at the park.)
