With its many chinese-owned shops located inside buildings or set on tents out in the sidewalks, 25 de Março street is a place where you can get almost anything - from costumes to furniture and fake jewelry to party items - you want for the cheapest price (but maybe not the best quality) possible
It's the place that represents São Paulo's city center's everyday fuzz. It's crowded and the stores only take cash so, if this doesn't scare you, it's surely worth the visit! Plus, the only tourists you might bump into are the ones who come from other parts of Brazil or those who come to the city especially to buy cheap stuff 25 de Março's style.
Most people here probably won't speak english, but if you're willing to buy something from them a smile and mimics should be more than enough
