Even though Rio de Janeiro is the most famous city in the world regarding Carnaval, São Paulo also has a huge and historical scene. The "Sambodromo" is the main place where the big schools and group present their creations of the year. But all over town you can find samba and small "blocos" dancing, drinking, having fun.

It's a very special time of the year to visit Brazil. Seeing it from a different perspective, in a city that is not by the cost, will show you another side of the national festival.
