Locals usually crowd MASP during its great temporary exhibitions hostings and the events from its cultural center - that has ateliers, concerts, dance performances and debates of all kinds. Also, the big interspace of its building can surprise you with a great view from above the area, young people gathering and hippies selling their workpieces
Being one of São Paulo's greatest highlights, the architecture of this building is already worth the visit. Plus, the permanent exhibition counts with works from international artists such as Renoir, Picasso and Diego Rivera and from some of the best brazilian artmakers of all times: Portinari, Di Cavalcanti and Anita Malfatti
The entrance on tuesdays is for free and on sundays from 10AM to 5PM there's a very nice antique market going on just outside the museum
