It may take some time to get a table, but you can shop books, enjoy some beer and small food on the sidewalk while you wait - it’s, actually, part of the fun.

Besides always having good Brazilian food and cold beer, they also serve the famous “pastel” - and it’s a must try! Don’t bother ordering, once they have a new fresh batch coming from the kitchen the friendly waiters will walk around the tables offering them. An experience from the beginning to the end.
