Why locals love it

Certainly one of the most amazing restaurants of São Paulo. Authentic, original, friendly. Delicious cuisine from the country's Northeast region, that is such an important part of the city culture. A family business that was opened by the father when he first arrived in town and felt homesick. Hard to get there, but absolutely worth the journey.

Why you should visit it

Besides the unbelievable delicious and creative dishes and deserts, they also have a huge variety of "cachaça", the Brazilian famous beverage made of sugar cane (you may also know it from the "caipirinha" drinks) and a great selection of special beer. It's a very special place to try local food and have a whole experience for hours and hours.

Special tip

If you plan to have lunch between 12-1pm, arrive VERY early (I mean it, 10am) - lines are huge. And while waiting try all the incredible entrances.

They have a fancy regional Brazilian food. The place is in the suburb and I little bit far from downtown. Most of the time, you have to wait a long time for a table. Always full.
