Why locals love it
Ó do Borogodó (yes try to pronounce it) is the heart beat of paulista samba nightlife and definitely a classic not to be missed out in SP. Live samba music, nice people and a cosy place - neither too big nor too small - the perfect samba nest to warm up along the cemetery in the heart of Pinheiros/Vila Madalena.
Why you should visit it
Whether you're in to dance samba till sunrise, to meet your future husband/wife or just to listen to some quality samba music along with a good cold Brazilian beer, ó do Borogodó is definitely the place to be! The concerts start around midnight.
Special tip
Open every night (cause samba never sleeps), best atmosphere is on Wednesdays, Thursdays and weekends (but prefer weekdays to dance freely).
