O Gato que Ri

Why locals love it

One of the many Italian restaurants that opened in São Paulo after the immigration period, this one was created in 1951 by a very friendly woman named Dona Amelia. And since than, it's a success. Besides serving food at the restaurant, they also sell fresh dough to be prepared by your own at home.

Why you should visit it

The recipes are still original - so is part of the staff working there. The restaurant became one of the most traditional pasta houses of São Paulo and it is kind of a milestone in the history of Arouche, where it's located.
