Have you tried some
"pinga"?
Papo Pinga e Petisco1
Why locals love it
A classic in the bohemian scene, located across from the famous Praça Roosevelt, in a square full of theatre places and groups. Some of the most famous people in the Brazilian show business started there or have circulated around. A meeting point before and after performances - or just a nice place to meet and have some cold beer with friends.

Why you should visit it
Besides being known as the first place where Elis Regina, the great Brazilian singer, performed in town when she moved to São Paulo (a turning point in her career), it’s also famous for it’s cozy decoration. The owner has a good collection of vintage objects and almost everything inside it is for sale too.
Special tip
Walk around and enjoy every detail of the decoration - perhaps you even decide to take part of it with you!
