If you are a skate, roller-skate, bicycle or run lover, that's your place in São Paulo. Even thought Ibirapuera Park is also famous for this matter, Villa Lobos was practically born for these sports. Opened in the 90s under the name of the most famous Brazilian classical composer, it's the place to enjoy open air sports.
It's good for sweat or relax, or even just watch how locals exercise. If you prefer a family mood, be there on the weekends. Week days are less crowded. Every now and then its small stages host concerts, art interventions and small presentations.
If you don't have your own bicycle, you can rend one at the door of the park.
