It's not centred, but definitely a famous day getaway among locals. Pico do Jaraguá is the highest mountain of the city, located in the beautiful Serra da Cantareira. It had once a golden mine, today it's the best natural place to appreciate the city of São Paulo from above.
It's absolutely non touristic, the view is nice and definitely different from everything else you can do in São Paulo. The nature around it is gorgeous and you can spend the day around the area, taking some fresh air for a change.
While there, explore Serra da Cantareira and its nice local restaurants.
