This 1920s building, once a substation responsible for distributing electricity to the tramway system in São Paulo, was refurbished by the architecture office Tryptique.The listed façade and signs of the original function of the structure were preserved and an innovative internal configuration was planned to house visual arts production, above all.

This five-storey venue, located in a downtown heavy traffic corner, puts together three exhibition spaces, a small library, a recording studio, a cafeteria, six ateliers for selected resident artists, an auditorium, a general-purpose terrace. Almost the entire building is open to visitors and the admission is free.
Lunchtime specials are served. Brunch available on Saturdays.
