This 100-year-old restaurant is THE place to go if you want to eat a great steak. Charging a reasonable price, one steak + garnishing (try the brazilian "farofa") is usually enough for two people. Centrally located, this is definetely one of locals' favorite spot to have lunch on a sunny (or rainy - the weather actually doesn't matter) sunday
Why would anyone want to miss one of São Paulo's best steaks? This place is also very traditional and cozy, therefore usually crowded on weekends (so you might have to wait a while for a table). The waiters are nice and each person gets one chocolate when you ask for the bill!
We suggest the filet a cavalo (steak with fried egg on top) or with palmito (palm hearts)
