Why locals love it
Locals who do not want plain vanilla film programming and the smell of popcorn, love it. Normally, the films showed come from Europe, Asia, South America and it is not rare that they are on in this theatre only.
Why you should visit it
This is a 4-screen theatre, coupled with a book shop, a restaurant, a boulangerie, an art exhibition in the lounge. Even if you cannot read subtitles in Portuguese and the films are not spoken in a language you understand, it is worth the visit
Special tip
It is hard to get a ticket but every last Sunday of each month, there is a breakfast followed by a French film, at a very good price.
