Bateau introduces itself as a contemporary steak house and aims at offering top quality beef. To achieve this goal, Chef Erickson owns a farm in Whidbey Island, called La Ferme des Ȃnes, or The Donkey Farm. Beef also comes from other affiliated farms. For instance during our visit, beef came from two farms: Burke Ridge Farm in Connecticut and Carlt
Excellent French steakhouse by Renee Erickson. It's SUPER pricey so be prepared to pay some major cash for delicious steak and sides. All the cuts of beef are on the chalkboard and then crossed off as patrons order them.
If you want a drink before dinner, I recommend Bar Melusine next door and they will come get you when your table is ready.
