Curug Lawe and Curug Benowo are waterfalls located in a rainforest around Kalisidi area, Semarang. If you're quite lucky, you'll meet some monkeys and other inhabitants. Famous for it's pure and crystal clear water, locals love to get here simply to relax or taking a quick natural shower!

Why you should visit it
Curug Lawe is relatively 'hidden' and surrounded by canyons. While Curug Benowo is more 'open', but we need to climb the rocks a little bit to get to the top. Curug Benowo has several natural ponds and its overall view is pretty spectacular. The trekking path is quite nice. If you're an outdoor person, you'll enjoy it.
Special tip
The trekking path can be slippery so it's better to wear shoes.
