Why you should visit it
Part refuge, part hunting bird hatchery, and entirely fascinating, the Raptor Center is a lovely park where injured birds of prey are brought to be treated and re-released. But they have quite a few terrifying birds that live on the premises, and conduct educational programs for kids and other interested groups.
Special tip
They rely completely on donations and the ticket cost of 6 euros is used for surgeries and for running the center and there is also a charming caffe.
