Humanitas is a great book company in Romania. With bookstores in all the big and medium cities of the country, Sibiu is fortunate to have a space dedicated to books right on the main pedestrian street of the city center. There are tables and chairs to sit while you enjoy a book and you can also order a delicious tea while you are there.
Why you should visit it
The bookstore is located at the ground floor and in the underground of a historic building. You have a wide range of books to choose from and, even if you don't speak or read Romanian, you will certainly find English and German books there. They also sell decorative objects, such as candles, perfumed sticks, or colorful tea boxes.
Special tip
Many students come to study together here after their classes. For this reason, you might not find a place to sit but you can ask for a chair.
