The Altemberger-Pempflinger House is located on the border between the Upper Town and the Lower Town. This historic house belonged to several noble local families of the town (the Pemflingers, then the Altembergers). The dwelling also hosted the old city hall for a short period of time. Now, the building houses the town's history museum.
