Piața Mică is located between the Huet Square and the Large Square. It developed on the place of the second fortification system of Sibiu. Historically, it was the commercial square of the medieval town and had a lot of storefronts with porticoes. The square features several local museums, a wide range of dining options, cafes, and pubs.

Piața Mică is one of the three historic squares that create a valuable urban ensemble in the center of the Old Town. Here you will find the first wrought iron bridge in Romania, the Catholic Church, the Pharmacy Museum, and the Ethnographic Museum. In addition, the defensive towers of the second fortification system of Sibiu are still visible.
Go up the tower of the Council Tower - it has several floors refurbished as a small museum and a beautiful view of the Piața Mică and Piața Mare.
