Why locals love it
Minister Pine is located at the Lake Auvojärvi surrounding forest at Sodankylä. The Pine has equipped with a metal poster, it was saved from logging, to commemorate the closure of the adjacent Auvojärvi's Lumberjack Manor in 1973. Surrounded by many other tall and old trees Minister Pine still stands still at it's post.
Why you should visit it
The car can be parked effortlessly for widening, you can search the pine in the dense forest. Behind the pine trees, Lake Auvojärvi glows wonderfully blue. The journey to the destination by car comes from both Rovaniemi and Sodankylä about an hour.
Special tip
The place is suitable for summer and autumn. In the spring, you should prepare for a road break, and winter maintenance should be clarified in advance
