The route to Orajärvi's Hirviäkuru is easy to navigate and less than a kilometer long, but being on the edge of the gorge requires extreme care. The drop is high and vertical, with no fence structures on the edge, caution when moving in the area.

The geological path starts from the yard of the Tankavaara Nature Center. During the summer, you can also go directly to the Tankavaara Gold Museum along the Geological Trail. There is a path of about 300 meters from the nature center along the path to the Gold Museum. You need an entrance ticket to the museum area.

He was a geophysicist who belonged to the Finnish Polar Expedition, in the 1880s. Lemström did research on northern lights with a copper conductor loop.

Kommattivaara's FirsbeeGolf Course is a challenging forest course completed in 2014. The throwing areas are well made and paved with artificial grass. The track has long uphill whistles and challenging downhill runs suitably alternately. The track expanded to 21 lanes over the years, while some of the lanes also stretched.
