Why locals love it
The Ilmakkiaapa Marsh is a familiar destination along the quads for many passers-by, and definitely worth a stop. A short, just a half-mile-long duckboard trail leads Ilmakkijärven fourth of the way to the beach where there is a bird watching tower in the middle of the most beautiful swamp and lake scenery.
Why you should visit it
There is an information board at the beginning of the route. There is no possibility of fire on site. Café Harianna, close to the route, caters for summer travelers.
