Kakslauttanen is a family hotel 250 km north of the Arctic Circle. The hotel is set amidst stunning nature that gives your vacation privacy. Although separated from everything and everyone, Kakslauttanen offers its guests an active holiday full of events and experiences for all ages.
The story of the hotel is one of the traditional stories, in 1973 Jussi was on his fishing trip in Lapland and was returning home to Central Finland. However, his trip ended as the gasoline ran out in the middle of the wilderness. The young man had to spend a night in the spot which happened to be Kakslauttanen, and Jussi got fonded of the place.
The Kakslauttanen is divided into West and East Village, both have quality services and activities including restaurants with a'la carte menu.
