Pappilanniemi's Nature Trail
Why locals love it
The Pappilanniemi's Nature Trail are located right in the Sodankylä's city center and follow the Kitisenjoki and Jeesiöjoki rivers. Along the three-kilometer route you will find e.g. an old Sámi residence and a barbecue hut for hikers, which also has wood supply and swings for children.
Why you should visit it
The route is easy to navigate and can be taken with the whole family. Tip! Get moving from the P-place of the old church (map) and at the same time admire the magnificent, tar-scented little church. The route is transportable all year round.
