Urho Kekkonen National Park provides visitors with stunning natural sights and interesting cultural and historical sites. See stunning fell landscapes, clear-water fell ponds, old Skolt Sámi settlements, and steep gorges where snow remains far into the summer. The National Park also houses Santa's home in Korvatunturi.
The Urho Kekkonen National Park, on the other hand, has high plateaux, but also extensive pine and spruce forests. On the slopes of the fells there is a birch. The southern part of the park is dominated by swamps. Small and bigger clear water streams and rivers flow everywhere.
