I don't know if there are bouncers at all in the first place.
If we can just go to bars, it is fine, but she would like to. Be assured.

Hi, the Bulgarian law provides that u shall be over 18 if u want to visit clubs after 10 pm. However, in practice this is not strictly applied everywhere. It depends on the place. Usually, the discos have bouncers who demand to show them your ID and in some clubs you can negotiate entering even if you are under 18, while on others - you'll be denied access. The bars don't usually have bouncers and it shouldn't be a problem. Certainly, there are a lot of places where you can enter and order alcohol when you are underage.

In this case it shouldn't be a problem, since she is in the company of people over 18 and according to the law, she should be allowed to be out after 22 hrs, so I guess they wouldn't mind letting her in. It might be an issue though, if you would like to order alcohol. It does depend on the venue and also who will be ordering the drinks. Many times they do not pay attention.

Hi,
as long as your friend doesn't look extremely young it will not be a problem at all to go to clubs. Especially if you don't speak Bulgarian - they won't even ask :)

But I don't go to clubs so often, so please consider the opinions below. But bars shouldn't be a problem at all.
Have a nice time!
Most bigger clubs will ID, but I never got questioned in bars, etc. To be fair, our group is consistently in the 23-40 range, so that might have something to do with it. Either way, proceed with caution, it's definitely not like Prague and some cities where you can pretty much walk in anywhere.
