We locals love going to Syrenuse around 7-8 pm (when its not too hot) and have a big aperitivo - so big you can consider it a dinner. Order a cedrata tassoni - typical italian citron juice - or an aperol spritz - for a more alcoholic choice - and you'll get many little snacks that go with them, included some small fritturine.

At Syrenuse you can have a drink, nibble and be in the heart of the city at the same time: Piazza Tasso. This is a typical local experience and trust me, you'll find tourists but you might as well bump into my friends having a chat!
Try to grab a table on the balconade, it's the best location.
