Why locals love it
I love places that manage to keep their functional despite the years. It was a photographic shop in 1850s and still is. Occasionally it also hosts small but lovely photo exhibitions and has a constant range of historical photos of St-Petersburg to look at. All in all nice place to pop into
Why you should visit it
The entrance is slightly more than 1 euro. Moreover you’ll also have opportunity to get out on the roof to enjoy a nice Nevsky prospect view/take some photos. Don't forget to check the upper room that is usually empty. There you can chill on the sofa looking from the window at the roofs of nearest buildings and at the pictures on the walls.
Special tip
The sign is non-noticeable and hidden between many others, so pay attention and climb up to the highest floor!
